What is the All On Four Implant Technique?

All On Four implant technique is a technique that we can apply to our patients who have no teeth, 4 implants are applied for a single jaw, two parallel implants are applied to the front jaw and two angled implants are applied to the back, and fixed temporary prostheses can be applied on the day of surgery.

When the bone loss in the back is high, the sinus hangs down, and our nerve coming from here in the lower jaw is formed in an area closer to the bone. Therefore, in order to implant in the posterior regions, we need to apply bone powder before the standard implant process, but in the all on four technique, when we can place the implants at an angle by bypassing the sinus gaps in the back, we can also make teeth in the posterior groups.

At the same time, since we apply temporary fixed prostheses that our patients cannot remove on the day of surgery, our patients do not have to use a prosthesis that is worn and removed during the three-month period of bone and implant fusion.

Who Can Receive All on 4 Implants?

It can be applied to patients who have no teeth or have very few teeth left in their mouths, but now they need to be extracted.

How is All on 4 implant done?

Beforehand, we use panoramic radiography and tomographs in our hospital to decide where and how to place the implants. In this way, we complete the surgical operation with a precise result. It takes a maximum of one week to make a fixed, non-removable screw prosthesis with a surgical operation.

Treatment Processes

Each patient’s jaw structure is different and there is no standardized treatment time for dental implant treatment in Turkey. Dental Implant procedures can be completed in a single visit in Turkey or may require multiple visits at intervals of at least 3 months. We usually need about 10 days if the treatment is to be completed in a single visit. In cases requiring multiple visits, including full jaw implants, the first visit in Turkey can be completed in as little as 2 days.

While we place the implants and provide temporary prosthesis the next day, we recommend our patients to stay a few more days instead of going straight back to their country. Also, if the quality of the jawbone is good, we will fit the dentures and crowns during the first visit. This is a common procedure that we successfully perform on our patients with healthy jawbones.

Fusion time can be influenced by factors such as the patient’s medical conditions and the technology used for the implant surface. Especially for diabetic patients, the fusion time may increase.

There are different techniques, such as PRGF, which we commonly use in many cases to decrease the fusion time and increase bone formation at the implantation site.

How many times do I need to come to Turkey for dental implants?

You may need to visit Turkey once or twice. This depends on the quality of the jawbone and the number of dental implants.

We can complete the whole process in one visit. This procedure is called immediate loading. If our dentists find it convenient, we aim to complete the treatment in one visit.

If you need to visit twice, we will leave you with no teeth. We provide free temporary dentures the day after the surgery. On your second visit, which must be at least 3 months after the first visit, we will remove these temporary dentures and fit the new bridge. The second visit can be completed within 4 days.

How long do I need to stay in Turkey for dental implants?

For the placement of multiple dental implants, we recommend our patients to stay for 8 to 10 days. However, depending on the condition of the jawbone, the treatment can be completed earlier or later than this. When we prepare a treatment plan, we provide our patients with detailed information about the required length of stay.
